Oh, Shiny! (Axew's Anime!)

Scans of fliers from McDonald's restaurants in Japan have recently gone around the web, revealing two more Pokémon to be distributed to commemorate the upcoming fourteenth Pokémon movie. Players of the Japanese-language Pokémon Black and White will get a chance to obtain Shiny Pokémon based on Pokémon belonging to characters in the movie. Players of Pokémon Black can obtain a Shiny Hydreigon based on Carlita's Hydreigon while players of Pokémon White can obtain Shiny Golurk based on Janta's Golurk. These Pokémon will first be available in participating McDonald's restaurants in Japan from June 17 to July 7 via Wireless Signal. Afterwards, from July 8 to Sept. 8, players may obtain these via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Moving on to the anime portion of this post, in Japan, the upcoming Pokémon: Best Wishes episode is entitled "Connoisseur Detective Cilan! The Audino Disappearance Case!!" It airs on June 9th. In the episode, the gang investigates the mysterious behavior patterns of some local Audino. Following two days later on June 11th in the United States is "A Connoisseur's Revenge!" On the gang's way to Castelia City, the gang stops for a quick break and runs into a snooty Pokémon Connoisseur with a vendetta against Cilan. This is the nineteenth episode of Pokémon: Black and White.
