Not surprisingly, five more customizable skin items have been released: 3 for your C Gear and 2 for your Pokedex. The C Gear skins each feature one of the fully-evolved Kanto Starters (Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur), while the Pokedex skins feature all of the base-evolution Kanto Starters in either a red or pink color scheme. The event runs for 2 whole months- February 25th to April 25th. The event is only for Japanese Black and White games as of the moment and is exclusively downloadable on the Global Link.
In other news, I neglected to report the rumor that Spanish website "Meristation" started last week because I simply did not buy it. They speculated that the Pokemon franchise would not be making a third version of their Generation V games, following the wild success of Black and White. I'm glad to say that in an interview with "GameTrailers," Junichi Masuda dismissed these rumors with a chuckle. So, fans rejoice! It looks like we might get that "Gray" Version after all...
Finally, the official Japanese Pokémon movie website confirmed the CoroCoro scans idicating that not one, but two, Pokemon movies will come out this summer in Japan. Representing the differences between Pokemon White and Pokemon Black Versions respectively, Victini and the Black Hero: Zekrom (featuring the "Deep Black" Pokemon, Zekrom) and Victini and the White Hero: Reshiram (featuring the "Vast White" Pokémon, Reshiram) are both slated for a July 16th, 2011 premiere. Both Pokémon movies will have the same plot, storyline and characters, but will center on the version mascot of the movie, plus Victini. Here is Nintendo's press release:
The main character Ash and his Pikachu are participating in the harvest festival battle held in Eind Oak, where the People of the Land live; the story is the same up until they meet the mysterious Pokemon Victini, but the legendary Pokemon differs for each of the two movies. "Black Hero" features Zekrom, which first appears when it acknowledges a human in pursuit of "dreams," and "White Hero" features Reshiram, which first appears when it acknowledges a human in pursuit of "truth."
