Tape on Your Glasses is Necessary for Entrance!

As we bundle up for the winter time, let's consider some new traditions: instead of warming up in front of a fireplace, why not in front of computer on Ned's Nerd Herd? With something for everybody, this winter won't feel cold at all if you stop by NNH every once and a while for some holiday cheer :)

Your Xtransciever is Ringing!

Yes, someone is calling you- the people of Japan. A horrifying 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck Japan today at about 2 PM local time. The quake, whose epicenter was thankfully in the ocean, has sent a train missing, let loose a potential radiation leak at a nuclear power plant, and released flood waters to engulf entire homes. I don't know about you, but I know I wouldn't even like to lose my copy of Poekmon White Version. Putting that into perspective, many Japanese citizens will be losing their houses, relatives, possessions, or even their own lives. Just like the destructive events in Haiti of last year, the damage in Japan is going to be immense. Their infrastructure hangs in the balance, and like all good Pokemon Trainers would, we need to help. Grab your partner Pokemon and a few Full Restores; now is the time to act. Because it is so early in the disaster, it is too soon to fully send our support; first-response emergency workers and volunteers have the stage in order to prevent as much damage as possible. However, we can always give up a few PokeDollars for the better. Here's how anyone can help:

The American Red Cross has created a designation for our disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific. If you wish to give, please visit http://american.redcross.org/rcchatnews.

Donations can also be made to Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief by texting REDCROSS to 90999 for a $10 donation.

And to catch a glimpse of the widespread damage to Japan from the viewpoint of PJ from PokeJungle Net, you can also visit

Can you save all of  Kanto and its fellow regions from their biggest threat yet?
