Some pretty cool news has just been announced: a Pikachu knowing the HM "Fly" will be distributed to Generation V games in Japan at ANA airport terminals to correspond with a new in-flight movie short premiering on select planes. Here's the information below:
Flying Pikachu: July 18th to September 30th (Available on both Generation V games)
To coincide with new in-flight Pokemon movie shorts, Nintendo is distributing a Pikachu knowing the move "Fly" at ANA Japanese airport terminals.Because this is not a Wi-Fi event, but instead a wireless download, this event will only be accessable to Japanese players instead of all Japanese games. Pikachu is exclusively downloadable at ANA airports via Wireless Signal.
Also, a new 3DS Pokemon application is going to soon be released. It is a Pokedex app that features the Unova Pokemon; players start out with 16 Pokemon unlocked and can collect more via Street Pass, Spot Pass, and QR codes. The new piece of 3DSWare goes global next week; for now, a screenshot of Oshawott can be seen below.
