Tape on Your Glasses is Necessary for Entrance!

As we bundle up for the winter time, let's consider some new traditions: instead of warming up in front of a fireplace, why not in front of computer on Ned's Nerd Herd? With something for everybody, this winter won't feel cold at all if you stop by NNH every once and a while for some holiday cheer :)

Scramble and Smash! (Axew's Anime!)

A new game called Super Pokémon Scramble has just been recently announced for release in Japan on July 28th. The game is the handheld sequel of the WiiWare title Pokémon Rumble. It features similar game-runs and modes as its predecessor game, but includes several all-new ones as well, including:

Charge Battle: this mode requires that you defeat a team of ten Pokémon to advance
Pokémon Collection Battle Challenge: you are challenged to battle all of the Pokémon you have acquired thus far in the game and defeat them as well, allowing you to then move onto new/more difficult game-play areas
Battle Royale: the Battle Royale is basically a Pokémon battle free-for-all, in which the last Pokémon standing wins
Street Pass: Super Pokémon Scramble also takes advantage of the 3DS's "Street Pass" feature and allows you to battle other Trainers you may meet

Also to be released in Japan is a new Pokémon Musical called "Pokémon Smash!" This is a spoof of the Japanese Pokémon variety show called Pokémon Smash! that airs on Sundays in that country. The new musical is available for download via the Global Link from June 13th to August 30th. It is downloadable to both Generation V games.
