Congratulations, Pokémon!

Guess what? Today is the 15th anniversary of the launch of Pokémon Red and Green Versions in Japan so many years ago. Making the franchise fifteen years old, it has since spawned a hit anime, a trading card game, and other merchandise (i.e. the amazing plushies)! Thank you to everyone at Game Freak and Nintendo (especially Satoshi Tajiri, who shared his childhood fantasies and dreams with the world so beautifully).

This Saturday (March 5th), the Pokémon: Black and White saga will continue in the USA with the fifth episode, “Triple Leaders, Team Threat!” It features the beginning of Ash’s first Unova Gym battle with the Striaton City Gym Leaders: Cilan, Chili, and Cress. The Pokémon: Best Wishes episode "Skyarrow Bridge and Gothitelle" is also airing this week in Japan on March 3rd. The Pokémon debuting in this episode happens to be a personal favorite: Gothitelle. Apparently Ash and the gang are crossing the Skyarrow Bridge when they hit a crazed Gothitelle who refuses them the access to continue their journey across Unova.
