A Friendly Reminder From Your Fellow Nerd

It’s Presidents’ Day! Are we all enjoying our days off from school and work? Here’s just a small reminder about two current Pokémon events. Suicune is available over Wi-Fi from now until February 27th and Celebi is available at GameStop stores and Black & White Tour Buses until March 6th. And while I’m at it, three new localized names have been announced:
The Subway Bosses: Emmet (Japan: Nobori) and Ingo (Japan: Kudari)
Features: the PokéTransfer (Japan: the PokéShifter)

Moving on, Pokémon: Black and White continues with its 4th episode on February 26th, which is “The Battle Club and Tepig's Choice!” This episode marks the capture of Ash’s Tepig, a neglected little Fire-type who's snout was tied up and was left to wither. The Pokémon: Best Wishes episode "Pikachu VS Sandile VS Ducklett" is also airing this week in Japan on February 24th. It centers on a flock of Ducklett, one of which steals Ash's hat. I'm hoping someone will finally catch the sunglasses-sporting Sandile that Ash met in the third episode at the sand-bath spa. He's such a character and his reappearance can't be a coincidence; my guess is that Iris will capture him. Or maybe Cilan will catch him; after all, I'm predicting that Iris is going to get herself a Munna sooner-than-later. Cast your votes and guesses in the comments section!

    Oh boy! I can't wait! I'm hoping that Cilan is going to get that awesome Sandile. He's kinda like the quirky Squirtle from the original series... He even has the sunglasses! Either way, it can't be Ash 'cause he already has 7 Pokemon to train.

    Yeah, that's my guess. But Sandile does seem to have taken a liking to Ash, too... I don't know; after all, we've yet to see Iris catch a Pokemon during an actual episode!
